I purchased a Croatian mag for my gf3 knowing there was mixed opinions on it some liked it some didn’t but it locks up in my gf3 just fine it does have a little bit of wobble I have yet to shoot with it yet so I can’t say how reliable they are hopefully soon I’ll get the chance to get out there and test the mag out and if it works then I may order more of them but we shall see nice vid .

My 10.5 runs suppressed and un-supped perfectly. Very well built

I know this is an old video but I noticed everyone's saying never modify the rifle itself and instead the mags, and I get that but... Would modifying the mags make them not fit in other AK's or is the tolerance tight enough that it doesn't introduce more slop in non-PSA AK's? Also, couldn't you just file down the mag release ever so slightly? That would at least be the cheapest thing to replace if it ends up being shoddy. Or is the issue with the actual dimensions of the mag well?

It’s the softest shooting 45 I’ve ever shot and the weight helps with recoil

Got one used 4 years ago. I've put about 150 rounds through it with zero issues. I use a Streamlight TLR-1 1,000 lumen light on it when it rotates night stand duty. It shoots soft and you can't argue with 15 rounds. I eventually bought 9 other magazines so I have 10 total mags for a load out. Thr stainless steel slide with corrosion resistent coating and thermopolymer frame make it impervious to rain, snow, salt, and sweat. Holsters are a bit of a hassle but I've collected a molded kydex holster, a cheap "burrito" universal holster that fits with my light, and a Cytak universal kydex holster for weapon light. I feel it is a perfect sidearm along with my FN SCAR 17 when the SHTF.

Great video! If you have a 45° gas block, you can drill and tap the opening in the block, and use your drilled plugs there.

So the problem I'm having with thease mags are the baseplate is loose on all of them and you can rip it off sideways if you drop a loaded mag n SPROING.... 30 round pickup.... I think it's the baseplates. The mags work great other than that...

If you didn't need to crown it, and just wanted to thread it, and didn't have your jig. Could you use a dead center and drive dog in place of the chuck on the chamber end, and a live center on the threaded end. Then thread it. My headstock hole isn't big enough to accept a barrel. Wouldn't that center it on the bore? I've been thinking of doing one on my lathe this way. Would like your opinion. Thanks

I’m really disappointed in the Olight mount. Also, why didn’t you test the remote switch?

I cut a small 30 degree chamfer at the crown along the edge of the bore, which protects a great deal against damage during cleaning.

Olight is smart enough to make a flashlight that can compete by using a stronger mount, but it seems to choose not to. It has to know its screws are pot metal.

One of the weak points of mounts, flashlights, and other cheaper items that claim to use the same body material as more expensive counterparts seem to use pot metal screws.

Excellent testing. If you want to save money on recoil testing, you could get one of those paint can shakers that utilize a Sawzall. You'd have an extra tool to shake your paint too.

so i have the gen 2 16 patrol and wanted a quad rail of the same quality as the factory one but thats 4-5 inches longer or so. any recommendations on the handgaurds that would fit around the gas block??
